Easy DIY Installation---No wiring or external power supply is required. You can forego using the base at all and put the top section directly on the post. Warm tips---Please make sure the sun light can be directly on the solar panel at least 6-8 hours to fully charge the battery inside. In winter for optimal performance, be sure to remove any snow or debris accumulation from solar panel(s). Winter may will reduce lighting time.
