T5 double ended Germicidal Lamps are used for pond water clarification and sterilization, to destroy suspended algae (green water) giving you crystal clear water. Proven technology for the destruction of air-borne bacteria, viruses and mould spores. Improved system efficiency when installed in HVAir Conditioning (HVAC) units by reducing bacterial and mould growth. The UVC wavelength of 253.7nm will inactivate bacteria, viruses, mould, and cysts by preventing DNA replication. Designed specifically for use with pond filters, water clarification units and air & surface sterilization equipment. Important Note: Germicidal Lamps emit UV-C radiation at 253.7nm that is dangerous to the human eye and skin. These lamps should NOT be used for general illumination and only used in a sealed filter unit or cannister.
